How We Spent Our Time Off

Happy New Year!

Wow, the last month of 2019 has absolutely left me speechless. Because of the holiday season, we decided to take a bit of a break from posting new content. In all honesty, I was doubtful and really thought it may possibly have been a bad choice. I am so happy to say that I was very, very wrong.

A time for reflection

Over these two weeks, I have had a chance to reflect on the year that has passed and clearly think about our future. I am so far beyond excited for what this New Year has to offer, I think I may just be completely off the radar.

2019 was not a very good year for our family. Dealing with loss, health scares, and financial strains can be very draining. Especially when you’re far away from the only place you’ve ever called home. But it has also brought us much closer as a family. Biggest bonus.

The past should only be to evaluate your progress

Things are looking up

On the plus side, we really ended the year off with a bang. Citizenship has finally been approved (after a 6-year wait), our new Virtual Assistant business is really showing great potential, and things have been going really well with our first client. We even have a few more in the pipeline. I am really looking forward to what is happening in our lives.

So yes, I was definitely proven wrong about taking that break. It’s allowed us the opportunity to approach this new adventure with clear minds and whole new energy.

There's no stopping us now

We wish everyone a very Happy New Year. If you’ve been going through rough times recently, may 2020 be your turn-around year. If recent years have been good to you, may 2020 continue to have clear blue skies with smooth sailing ahead.
